I noticed the Smirnoff vodka bottles at the liquor store have “Made in America” on the labels. Is that to calm fears of buying something Russian during the phobias? Not my brand, anyway, but the label caught my eye.
I usually get Tanqueray vodka, English brand, mainly for the reason that I like the gin so much.
Oh, comforting! I’m not even reading that article.
Gotta be to protecc that “democracy.” 🙄

#sosueme (So Sue Me) I still spend many a Sunday listening to Bobina from Russia. Very fine Trance and ELD.
In my 20’s, it was a mission for me to dance in a few of the world’s major nightclubs / discos. Some were in the USSR (Moscow). I never made it there. I missed Ibiza, too. I got some other good ones, though.
I turn on an FM radio in a rental car today, and NPR was all “Russia, Russia, Russia.”
This is one of the items from my Ukrainian package. It’s called a straight key, CW key, or Morse code key.
It’s been about 40 years since I regularly used the code. It’s time to get back in shape for those special communications. 😉
I’m sending real code in the video, but it’s sloppy because of lack of practice for so many decades.

Description:
Vintage Soviet military telegraph key. The material of the platform is Bakelite (Russian carbolite), the mechanism is steel. Used in the past in the radio bureau of the USSR Ministry of Defense.
WTF! Mark Weinstein of MeWe is playing that ludicrous Russia card, too! I think this company of theirs is not grounded in reality. This is not his first time playing that crying violin about Russia. He must have inside information that nobody else has been able to find.
I also saw MeWe on Twitter bashing a competitor with decent intentions, Ello, by saying it was hype, and nothing more.
I hate to see that social network being run with a childish attitude. It makes me think the whole operation is a crock. MeWe’s claim to greatness is several awards that nobody has ever heard of. Also, I don’t see a revenue model there. None of the paid services that are said to float the boat are worth paying for.
