Harris Teeter’s (supermarket) lemon cake is much better than that gay-tease rainbow cake they have.

The rainbow cake reminds me of things dancing in the disco long time ago. They looked good under the disco lights, but it was for sure if you took one home, it wouldn’t be very good. 🌈🎂

Oh, fun! This just came in from my insurer.

nature preserve

The hidden place in the back yard that we call the Nature Preserve. It’s like a hollowed-out cave underneath the tree branches.

It became especially important two years ago when it was hard to go places because of covid.

Sometimes on the weekends, it’s fun to come out here in the middle of the night and have a cocktail.
