Cancun 2010. Cancun has a high number of travel agents per capita. You’re never very far from one . As shown on this board, any of them can get you on a plane to Cuba.
USA, doesn’t matter. Cuba will let you right in, at least they did in 2005 when we went. Cuba will even do you the favor of not stamping your passport so you can lie about it if you wish. That said, you will have an exit stamp from Mexico then a reentry with unexplained time in between.
I guess these don’t mature like a savings bond.

From the 80’s to the 00’s, my mom had a marvelous Mercedes 300D sedan. At the end, the car had over 225,000 miles (362,102 km) on it and ran fine. She kept it well maintained.
She was counting on it being her last car until somebody wrecked the hell out of it (not me).
She was so dispirited about it, that she bought some nasty old Buick to replace it.
We saved this from the wreckage.

The Fourth of July flag has been selected and installed in front of the house.

Especially good people watching was around the WNAA stage.
