hard news

While driving for work today, I stopped off at a restaurant for dinner. A TV was on nearby with "News 7" playing. I didn't look up at it, but I heard three of tonight's stories:

  • new animals at the zoo.
  • a cow gives birth to some kind of weird calf.
  • the color of hippopotamus milk.

I kept trying to read about Julian Assange on my mobile, but that TV was distracting!

  3. I'm glad to see that you were trying to read about J Assange rather than being distracted from the colour of hippopotamus milk by a news cast of J Assange. 😉

Never heard of it. It's probably on my cable dial somewhere, but I have a pretty narrow selection of things I like to watch.I did find out what HLN is: http://www.hlntv.com/hln-about-usHLN is the national television network that focuses on the “must-see, must-share” stories of the day. Drawing upon the network’s deep bench of talent, including Robin Meade, Jane Velez-Mitchell, Nancy Grace, Joy Behar and Dr. Drew Pinsky, HLN dissects and demystifies the news stories and newsmakers people are talking about.HLNtv.com, the network’s new digital platform, is the online destination for users to go deeper into the top stories driving the conversation and generating the national buzz.HLN is a CNN Worldwide network reaching more than 100 million households in the U.S. CNN Worldwide, a division of Turner Broadcasting System, Inc., a Time Warner Company, is the most trusted source for news and information. So, the woman's name is Robin Meade. Here she is. Never have seen her in action.https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robin_Meade
