This reminds me of when everything was done by Zoom two years ago, when there were always a few who left the camera on full time, close to the mouth, and shoveled in food throughout the entire meeting.

I just did a “Teams” meeting where one left the camera on and deep chain smoked close to it the whole time. Mouth wide open in a big “O,” I guess due to COPD. Why not share your emphysema with the group?

Then same one puts hands behind head when not smoking so we have to look at armpits. No self awareness whatsoever.

When I get notice of a required Zoom or Teams meeting, the dread starts early. Many things cannot be unseen.

After the shortages two years ago, I still haven’t gotten over my compulsion to buy paper towels and toilet paper every time I see it in the stores. I brought home two more packages today.

I decided to look up an old friend I haven’t seen in 25 years. I found him on Facebook. He looked a bit bizarre but still recognizable. He was an odd one, so I was prepared for a significant variance on appearance from my memory.

Then I found a pic of him that gave me the shivers. I held it up for my spouse to see, saying “can you believe he looks like that now?” Good God.

Then we noticed the date. It was a Halloween outfit.

With some people, Halloween or not, it’s quite hard to tell if they are in costume or if that’s their usual.

You see ’em out on Halloween, and nothing is different. 🦇 👻 🎃

I like grabbing a reusable shopping bag and walking to the liquor store. 🍸

It makes going a healthy fitness activity and reduces environmental impact.
