guatemala video

I’ve been studying these issues for 40+ years.

Early 1980’s, a US magazine reporter (can’t remember now which), crawled on his stomach for long distances to discover entire villages wiped out. Everybody dead. The photography was grisly.

Then, 2021, Empire Queen, Kamala do-not-come-to-US Harris, makes her first international trip after taking office to hang out with the Guatemalan President. Sickening.

Guatemala: CIA’s Permanent Backyard

amaretto disaster

The great amaretto disaster of last night.

In other words, why I’m wheezing all day today. Hard to breathe.

I had a little sip after work last night. It went down the wrong way, hard. Burned TF out of my throat, larynx, probably down the trachea some.

It reminds me of accidents I saw as a child when people would siphon gas with a hose.

odiferous

Oh, my! How’d you know it’s what I wanted?

Because I bought it for my damn self. 🤩

all day dance stream

I’ve had a 6 hour 39 minute stream of “Hi-NRG/Italo Disco/80s Dance Mixes” playing off and on all day. Very very good.

Sly Fox’ “Let’s Go All the Way” was on a bit ago. When that came on in the clubs years ago, it could be thrilling, embarrassing, frightening. It all just depended.

cherry pie

I think we’re having a pie shortage. The Fresh Market (supermarket) only had one weak looking apple pie, and three of the cherry pies, which nobody wants, but I like one sometimes. Look at the price on that thing. $11.99. 🍒🥧💰

(image is cherry pie in plastic package with price showing)

marx swanky

Anytime a US citizen hurls the labels communist, Marxist, etc., there’s a ZERO percent chance the person has even the slightest idea what they mean.

The words have gravitas and make the hurler seem politically swank to members of the same…whatever.

pineapple corer

I’m trying out for the first time a pineapple corer that I bought. I didn’t know such a tool existed until somebody mentioned one at work. Inexpensive, effective.

First attempt was a success. I’ve already eaten a third of it.

The pre-sliced ones from the store, they often miss the core, so you end up paying for a lot of nothing.

Pics are pineapple at start of operation then spiral of the fruit in a container.

surveyors

When I see signs that say “surveyors ahead” while driving, I like to imagine that there will be people with tablets standing by the road shouting questions at the passing drivers.

“Do you like driving on this road a lot, somewhat, or a little?”

“On a scale of 1 to 10, how would you rate the scenery on this road?”

strange new buildings all over

It seems like my city, and so many others, are now surrounded by giant gray and white featureless, usually windowless, buildings. Not that many seem occupied now. Many have signs out front that say “available” or “hiring soon.”

My first suspicion is that it is some kind of corporate giveaway. Don’t just let them go tax free, build their building, too. I don’t know that, but you know.

What could it be?

internet things

The way things often go online.

For example, software team announces they are shipping an updated version of their web browser tomorrow.

First random comment: I’ve reported a bug in 2001 which is still not resolved. Why are you ignoring me?

Second random comment: what’s your position on Ukraine?
