peanut butter pretzel induced paralysis

Be aware of these. Delicious, but they’ll totally paralyze your intestines. You might not go for days. Then when it lets up, you’re in for it. Don’t be driving in a rural area at 4:00 a.m. 🤢

high pitch v8 rattle engine

What kind of weird V8 revs so high as the loud ones I hear all over town. Those Mustangs and things. It seems like years ago V8s turned over much more slowly. I’m guessing it’s a noise gimmick.

Oh look! Your car can make a loud prick noise in city traffic.

I don’t support police meddling in citizen affairs, but I could go for wild enforcement of the associated speeding and aggressive driving that go along with it.

gotta see

When I clear cookies on the mobile browsers, it resets all my social media preferences.

The first things I do on each one after a reset:

— turn on dark mode
— bump up font size

Otherwise I have to strain too much.

woodwind extravaganza

My spouse did a woodwind extravaganza Saturday night. ❤

fat32

The fun feeling of using a Linux command to format a storage card to a Windows file system. The camera was struggling to format it, so I stuck it in a card reader and had the desktop do it.

Good ol’ universal FAT32.

usual linux fun

Manjaro or Linux Mint. I’ve used both and both are superb. I’ve currently had the Manjaro on for months.

Over the decades, I’ve had many including Slackware and Debian. Those have been awhile.

Such agonizing decisions. For me they are all fun though some bring on occasional profanity.

Put that /home directory in a separate partition and you can distro swap lickety split.

we all waiting to pay more taxes

I phrase that I view as en eye roller:

“I’d gladly pay a little more in taxes if”

From that alone I know what to look for in the profile. Certain things regularly pop up.

You go right ahead and pay as long as it’s your taxes specifically.

morning dance music and coffee

I like morning music with my coffee on a day off. Something with a nice melody and an easy beat, thumpa-thumpa-thumpa.

Years ago I called it my “dance off a hangover in the morning” music. Hangovers are too devastating for me now, so I’m more careful.

“Drop the Gun” by Be Svendsen is a good one. This artist has a good selection of pleasures.
