Ellen DeGeneres, she's easy to love. I really like her values list at the very end of the video.
I remember when Jerry Falwell used to call her "Ellen DeGenerate."

This same wife to miss in France; i like this person:yes:
I saw that last week on Crooksandliars.com. I ❤ Ellen. Although, I'm not sure I want to shop at J.C. Penny. Maybe the next time I need socks…

A thumbs up for Ellen by JCPenny is nice, though not an all encompassing reason to go there. I usually have found the nearby mall store to be junky, though the last two times I went, it was rather posh in there, surprisingly so. Penny was the first to give me a store credit card when I was 19, so I bought a lot of teenage "fashions" there, lol. The charge card was a yummy chocolate brown. I even bought a rather nice stereo system there when the store was into electronics. The amp was killer. I wish I still had it.Anyway, Ellen is an OK reason to put Penny's back on the list for a look see. If she could stay free of corporate control, I'd vote for her for president, congress, whatever.
Nice post and lovely to see calm and reasoned statement in response to those who would use archaic values dressed up as "traditional" against her. Reminds me of a Jon Stewart/Daily Show "take down" of Fox News a few years ago.
love her :flirt:

I was totally gomma mention their MCS equipment, but I thought it might be a bit too esoteric a memory. I remember drooling at their MCS gear when I was still in Toughskins. It was really pretty stuff. 🙂

I remember that one, but we didn't have Wachovia in Southern California, as I recall. The last couple of weeks at work surrounded by sinful youth, I've been recalling this jingle quite often:"Don't cook tonight. Call Chicken Delight. We deliver."My dad did in fact order at least once, and I remember the disheveled driver arriving in what looked like a re-purposed taxi. I don't imagine I cared about the quality of the food when held up to the magic of it having been delivered.

I like esoterica. For example, from when I was little, I remember this radio/TV jingle:"Wachovia Master Charge goes more places, Wachovia Master Charge does more things."or"How do you handle a hungry man? The man handlers."Somehow we can relate this to Toughskins.
