This is GOOD candy. Plain and simple, just sugar, peppermint oil, and some coloring for the stripes. YUMMM! I found it at a store waaayy out in the country. Fat free, lol. 😆

Wow, makes me think about old candy like: bottle caps, jaw breakers, shoe string licorice, and candy underpants

Good ones. Some more you just made me remember: candy lips (so red, like Rocky Horror), pop rocks? (they fizzed in your mouth). Then there were the important training aids, like candy and bubble-gum cigarettes. I guess candy underpants would be a training aid also. Somebody gave me a dick sucker one time. :eyes:
I'm still pissed that a double sized Popsicle used to cost a nickle dammit 😥

You probably remember when bottled sodas went from a nickel to a dime in machines. The machines were the ones that you would put in the coin, open the narrow tall door, and yank your bottle out by the top. I saw one of those machines still in regular operation as late as 2000.
Oh I remember bottled soda or is it pop? Root beer was my favorite I think. Then in 2nd place was orange crush :p

Those are terms that vary so much. Pop, soda, soda pop, soft drink, refresco.A few people I know call a beer a "beer soda". That hits me as weird, so I never say that.
My favourite old time candy was from the UK – called a gob stopper. Was basically a big round ball of liquorice sugar 🙂
