We went out to a Greek restaurant tonight and I had a Greek beer. I didn't know Mythos also came in a red. It was yummy as was the food.

and I see in the background the wreath that only winners deserve! lets say you were a winner tonight! (if I may say myself ,Greek food and Mythos can be the best! )
Love greek food, and Mythos is not a bad beer, either. Although I don't think I have tried the red variety.

that surely does look wonderful for a 39 degrees temperature out here ๐
I think you should hand me that beverage, sir. XD
Thank you. ๐
Oh that greek beer does look yummy
Crazy Jim's is a small Greek Restaurant I eat at twice a month. It is the two times a month I allow myself to have beef and fries and will order their Steak Feta Gyro w/ Tzatiki sauce with fries. This is the only place I ever have fries…they are that good. A few times I have seen people only order fries. The gyro I eat there while they make my 'to go' order of a chicken/feta greek salad. Their homemade Greek dressing is to die for. Since I can only eat half the gyro, the other half is for tomorrow's lunch. The same with the salad. I'll have half for dinner for two nights. I do believe they have Mythos and also Greek wines but I never have alcohol there.
Wow, PainterWoman, you made my mouth water! ๐
it's the first time I heard about Greek beer.. is it strong?

yeah, I'm with you.. but you know, Brazilian beers are too weak.. They are drinkable but if I have the opportunity to have a different one, I'm in.
Sao Paulo was also the first place I ever drank a guarana soda. I think the brand was Antarctica. Nice exotic flavor.

The Mythos Red had a good flavor and was strong enough for me, though I do like my beers to not be too heavy.
Hmmm I'm gonna write these beer names down, so when I go to the States, I can have some good ones. Yeah, I'm in Brazil right now, but I live in the South of Brazil. I doubt you know my city; Irati.Oh, so you were in Sรฃo Paulo, that's nice, you probably drank 'Skol', 'Brama', 'Bohemia' or 'Kaiser'.
I don't like any beer labeled "light", though I do like beer to be drinkable and refreshing. I don't like the dark ones so much, the ones people call "liquid bread."It's amazing what technology has done for beers and lagers. Even the giant national breweries have some kick-ass product now.

North Carolina – USA.American beers have a deservedly weak watery reputation, but there are some very good ones around now.My current American faves:–any of the "Blue Moon" series that is made by the giant Molson/Coors company. This is the one I meant when I said above that even the national breweries are making good stuff now.–Anything by the Fat Tire brewery, which is a small company that is trying to go national. Some people will laugh at this one, but my favorite hot weather "chug 'em down" beer is Corona (Mexico).I think you are in Brazil? I was in Sao Paulo once, and I'm sure I drank some beer, but it was a long time ago.
About the dark beers, I like to have one now and then, but I like the sweet ones.. there are some that are made of coffee.. man, those are pretty disgusting. How about the beers in your country?by the way, where are you from?
Oh Yeah, Antarctica is also good. And what's your impression of Guaranรก soda? I particularly like it a lot, but last year an Italian friend of mine came here and he didn't like it.
