when you feel a little vietnamese

I had a craving for rice noodle soup tonight, so we went out to eat at Pho Hien Vuong. That other fella had curry chicken. :chef:

  2. I like it

  3. I do like Pho except for the tradition of putting raw meat, usually beef, on the top of the hot soup. I usually push the meat down and let it cook more in the hot soup but some people eat it raw. I shudder at the thought. I've noticed too that they all eat everything in the soup but leave most of the broth. Rarely do I see anyone pick up the bowl to drink the broth. I wonder why?

  4. I won't eat raw meat, but the places here don't do that anyway.I slurp down the entire bowl, but it's mostly liquid so I'm hungry again in 2 hours.I used to eat oysters raw, but with the oceans in shambles, I've stopped that, too.
