I'm way up in the Blue Ridge Mountains of western North Carolina for work. I checked into the hotel and found this delightful computer desk complete with choice of wired or wireless Internet and flat screen TV. Very comfy! I brought the tomatoes from home. I can't wait to see the cute mountain critters at work tomorrow. π

cool
Wow, nice to be provided a computer too. Times sure have changed. I wonder if they have a problem with theft? But then, if a pc goes missing, I guess they automatically charge it to the last person who stayed. We've got some Blue Ridge Mountains up in the White Mountains in Arizona. I had the best burger, fries and chocolate shake at the Blue Ridge Burger Shop. This was probably 25-30 years ago when I used to ski.
Oh, you're right. I automatically thought the pc was provided.
Nice digs Dave  does hotel provide dental floss and tooth brush? π (bark bark)
I believe the netbook is dave's. This motel sure doesn't look as shabby as some others, you tried.
*dave can't answer right now**please leave your message after the beep*/and some even do!/
Or don't, if you don't want a back yard kitten. π
you can keep the computer,i am after your tomatos! honest I can not live without them, pls tell me you grow them in your garden! π

OMG, it's been noticed. *blush* Actually this was a free "points" stay, lol. When you collect enough points, you redeem for a free night. It's best to use it where the rates are high and the hotel is nice.Originally posted by operainchicago:

I wish I could, but my yard is too shady. I have to rely on "connections". There was this Mexican woman that was my tomato connection for 2 years, then she disappeared. Now I have to rely on my mother's old friends. They are unreliable. The perfect tomato sandwich is made like this:Gushingly juicy red ripe tomato. Thin skinned and delicate.WHITE bread. Has to be white. Whole wheat sux with tomatoes.Duke's Mayonnaise. Kraft brand is ok if you can't get this one. NO store brands or Miracle Whip. :yuck:Pinch of salt and pepper.A good tomato sandwich is better than steak.
BTW, in this area, a tomato sandwich and a MATER SANDWICH are the same thing. π
* she got waterry mouth *
Your net-book matches the wall well. π
