All around my area there are signs going up to vote for another sales tax increase and approve another bond issue for schools.
Meanwhile, corporate “incentives” continue aplenty, plus many churches are installing charter schools and advertising them as free, meaning tax funded.

A person I encountered at work today was rather surprised when I pronounced their “foreign” name correctly.
It was partly luck, partly knowledge, but I’ve always had an interest in the entire globe. I had a shortwave radio as a child so I could hear the whole world. 🌐📻🎙️
It turned into a lifelong thing.
