spouse has christmas music church gig

My spouse has another Christmas music gig here. I’m in First United Methodist Church of High Point, NC, today.

Mighty nice in here.

fireplace on the tv

Relaxing with The Witcher HD fireplace playing on the TV. Now I just need an IV to knock me out for about 3 hours so I can get some rest.

mother christmas

Mother says Merry Christmas.

christmas decorations are up

I finally got the lights deployed.

My twinkling red star that played “L’Internationale” and blinking hammer and sickle wouldn’t light up this year, so I had to improvise.

rock of ages, still a rollin’

Certain movies, situations, etc, can trigger vivid recollections of violence from over half a century ago.

very smart is the water

It is very sure that few are smarter than I. This is proof.

the perfect travel companion

Of course they mean the app, but it was fun to think it over.

cracker barrel restaurant

I had a delicious breakfast at Cracker Barrel in Kansas City this morning. I had to end my gay boycott of there after the lockdowns let up and it reopened. They’re just aren’t that many options now. A lot places are just posturing anyway. As long as there’s not shit right in my face, I will consider going.

it’s not the watches

This looks like a very good wrist and forearm. No telling what it’s attached to though.

the bleak midwinter

View from my hotel room. This is all there is to life. Grey skies, bleak, traffic clogged highways. Electric cars will fix all that. 😬
