I’m not usually into this look, but it reminded me of Brad Pitt in Thelma and Louise.

And I could hear the screams of a million dairymen crying, “Foul! This must not be called “milk,” for consumers are stupid and don’t know the difference between animal secretions and nut water. And it threatens our profits.”
I’ve been chewed on more than once by someone online, a 4-H leader I think, by throwing the definition at me: “Milk is the lacteal secretion, practically free from colostrum, obtained by the complete milking of one or more healthy cows.” FDA Sec. 131.110 Milk.
4-H’er says soy is NOT MILK! “Stop misusing the term.”
I think 4-H is an agribusiness shill along the lines of, “we don’t mistreat our cows, we LOVE our cows, they provide our livelihood.” Reminds me of Ringling saying the same about their elephants.
And I go n’unt uh! Milk: Any of various potable liquids resembling milk, such as coconut milk or soymilk. The American Heritage® Dictionary of the English Language, 5th Edition.
It was the same person who jumped on me one time for complaining about HFCS. Said: “It’s EXACTLY the same as sugar.”
I also remember that for a time that plant-based milks were not allowed in the same cooler as dairy. I haven’t noticed if that’s still true.
There’s been numerous lobbying efforts at different levels of government is various countries to legally ban the use of the term “milk” in product labeling.
