How was it? My experience with Gallo wines has been “sometimey”, to say the least … usually, they do not age well, and the age of this bottle looks rather extreme, if you know what I mean … it tends to get awfully “tannic”, if I may use the word, and quite “harsh” in the mouth.
I like your observation. “Sometimey” is a good rule of thumb. This bottle is drinkable. After an initial bite, it’s rather pleasant.
