I like appliances that do things. I have this DVD player that has a USB port.
1. – Download an HD movie by torrent.
2. – Copy to USB stick.
3. – Jack it in the slot and enjoy.
The movie was a free and legal Creative Commons download.

Image #2: The movie watched was called Just Do It – a tale of modern-day outlaws. This link has the torrent. Pssst! It's about the environment, so you know there's lots of coppers involved.
