the usual social networking behavior

On one of my other social networking accounts, I make a light comment on someone's post, and that person goes into attack mode. I find it typical.

I like to make new arrivals feel welcome, for at least a few minutes. I can always go into savage mode later if needed. It's nice to offer hospitality when it's not required.

Now, buzz off mofo! :jester:

  1. There are too many of these type of persons on social networking sites. For some reason the use of the internet gives these twats reign to their idiocy. Facebook especially is overloaded with them which is why I left it earlier this year. Blog sites tend to be better as most of them cannot construct sentences. :sherlock:

I am in the process of cleaning my friend list on Facebook and probably Myopera this summer. I can count 10 "real" friends on here. The others never post or blog. I mean WTF? :sherlock:

  3. I blog and post. Oh, I hope I make the cut ๐Ÿ˜‰

  4. If I get cut from anyone's friend list, heads will roll!j/k

  5. Agree…

  6. I followed the steps to delete my Facebook account. Dunno if it actually worked, but the dialog said so. I dare not log back in.

Heh. The only way I can tell if it is pending for deletion if anyone on my friends list would verify it. Usually, it wouldn't list my name if I followed the steps.

You were quite dedicated there. Hope you don't have withdrawal.

  9. Internet is an open door for sad and selfish people who seek some bones to gnaw.If only we had the courage to leave our screens, to abandon our homes and our backpacks, to ignore the guidebooks; the courage to lose us, the prominent bones only burned by a divine sun.For most, friendship on social networks is an illusion, something like a collection of stickers for children!Nice to meet you, take care ๐Ÿ˜€

  10. Well said. Thanks for the visit.

Life membership on my friend's list for Dave! I'm not messing with him, I'm a weed if the truth be known. ๐Ÿ˜‰

  12. @Harry ScrivenI am the first to know that most people from Britain are pleasant and friendly. I guess it's cultural ๐Ÿ˜‰ Unfortunately, I've never been there but many come to us. Certainly not for the weather, or for the beauty of the place, but Brussels, well, you know… :coffee:

At the moment Britain is not having great weather. This April set the new record for rainfall! And is Britain beautiful. In places, yes, but not everywhere. :coffee:
