getting paid

…for getting laid. (Sweet Painted Lady – Elton John)

I get paid bi-weekly, every two weeks, or every fortnight. Every other Friday is pay day. I don't run to the liquor store with it like a friend of mine does with his Social Security check.

I always look at that amount and think that if I got that *every week*, instead of every two, that this job I have would really be worthwhile and I could get a sweet little house that I want in Mérida, México.

It's the eternal problem. :p

    I know what you mean. I could do with my monthly salary every fortnight. There's always too much month left at the end of my salary payment.
