tormented by dreams

The last two nights I've had some doozies. Dreams can be disturbing and often make no sense. I'd hate to try to analyze these.

Tuesday night: I had some kind of strange male pregnancy and gave birth to "something", lol. :yikes:

Wednesday night: I can only remember fragments, but the dream had to do with Richard Nixon and the Nixon Library.

I must say that the Wednesday night featurette was somewhat more shocking than Tuesday's.

I hope tonight I just drift into a deep dreamless sleep.

  1. Ha ha… oh… lol! Wow, wierdest dream I have ever heard of.

  2. Umm I dont know yuo but reading your blog have you ever considered laying off the spicy food and tequila late at nite? Just a thought :DParty on……………..!

  3. Woke up this morning with a shotglass in my hand……Nah, I'm more careful than that! ๐Ÿ™‚ Seems like tequila would make me dream in Spanish. I've actually done that a few times, but these 2 were in English.I do like spicy food, but with each passing year, I get a bit more tender.

  4. :drunk: :faint: :ko: :rip: :eyes:

  5. Yeah, if you've not started, best not to.Goes for cigs especially, booze, "substances, legal or otherwise". I quit smoking, by the way.I also like to include "mood enhancers" of the type that are seen advertised on the TV constantly, sleep aids, whatever. They try to create a demand for these things, and make using them seem common and normal. They can become yet another monkey on your back. The side effects are numerous. A lot of these meds were brought into being from slanted studies and bribing of the FDA. If you have to take them, make sure you've exhausted every other means first.OK, enough preachin'. ๐Ÿ˜€ Not preaching to you Noah, I'm just talking. You're a smart person who is going to avoid the bad things.

  6. :jester: Oh, I know that your good with the drunk stuff. I'm just a little Drama queen…. King???? lol

  7. :eyes: You stopped smokin?:yikes: PRAISE THA LORD! My mom stopped a while back, but then I couaght her smoking a cigarette in the back yard. She has tried to quit since I was 2. Maybe it will be easier for you.How long have you been off the addiction? โญ

  8. You're a drama queen that I very much like! Nice to see you Noah. The drunk stuff is mostly bravado. When I was in my 20's I liked to slurp it down more, but as I get older, I try to be more careful. If I get buzzed these days, it means that I have absolutely nothing to do the next day.

  9. Lol, you…. get buzzed ๐Ÿ˜† ๐Ÿ˜† I have no idea why yoiu guys like to drink in the first place.:bug:

  10. Nearly a month, so it's not a secure thing yet. My attitude is very good this time, so hopefully it will take.

  11. My Health teacher has told me that putting down a cigarette is harder than trying to quit a heroin addiction.:insane:

  12. Rats! I knew I picked the wrong one. :ko: I think the teacher is right. It is a severe addiction for most people, though I have met a few who could drop it pretty easily. At least with smoking, not to defend it, doesn't destroy lives and families *immediately*. It's effects are more long term.I have, in my lifetime, met a couple of otherwise normal-looking people who used heroin. By normal-looking, I mean there were few apparent signs they were addicted to something so serious. Neither one lasted for very long. Their lives and/or their health were wrecked in short order.Try to avoid both! ๐Ÿ™‚ Smoking and heroin.I think it's good to have serious drug/alcohol education early on. They scared me straight in middle school (used to be called Jr. High) before I had a chance to start on anything. I've never used anything that I would consider serious. The smoking education in middle school was quite good, too. They gave us some great learning experiences of the effects, and we all voluntarily signed a statement that said "I choose not to smoke". Over the years I thought of that statement I'd signed a thousand times.
