Due to 23 years with current employer with much of it involving driving between 2 and 6 AM, I often wake up at 2 AM even when off work.
It’s a curse but also a beautiful time of the day.
I’ve met a lot of people I’ve liked within those hours with the nighttime hotel departures, coffee stops, fuel, pissing, etc.
I’m ready to stop, though, but OK for a few more years, maybe, depending on mind and body.
I watch the world in the darkness. Vampiristic awe with decent overtime.
