My economic stimulus is here! I have a credit card issued by one to the banks that has received a ton of taxpayer money. They sent me an "amendment to cardholder agreement." Tiz sweet as honey! According to the news report I read moments after opening the bank's letter, almost everyone is getting one, or soon will.
Some of the nice things they did in exchange for all the nice public money the people were forced to give them:
- The doubled my interest rate.
- The rate is now variable instead of fixed. Up, up and away!
- Old fees are increased.
- There is a RAFT of new fees!
Talk about getting gigged and not even getting kissed afterwards. 😆 :yikes:

Been approved. This is what they do to you after you start to run a balance. Credit is a bit like selling a teeny bit of your soul to the devil.
