  1. Cheers for pointing out to me who released that version of Stormy Weather. Yes, that's the kind of disco music I like. I have tracks like this on my in car MP3 player. :up:A quick search on Startpage.com confirmed that she passed away in 2009. That is a shame. 😦

Startpage, good taste in search engines. I use the sister site, ixquick, just because the name sounds funny (icks-quick).I, too, noticed that Viola Wills passed in 2009 when I was downloading last night. For some reason I expect these singers to still be as young as they were when I was dancing heavily to their music. Examples: Gloria Gaynor, Eartha Kitt, Patti LaBelle.

Yes, it shocks me that they age as well and then I tell myself aloud that of course they have. Peter Pan is a fictional character with fictional qualities, right! :sherlock:

  4. I like Start Page and Ixquick! I also find DuckDuckGo pretty sweet! :cool:Still hard to be Google free, though. 😮

  7. Startpage uses Google results and so I never use Google any more. I use Startpage mainly and also Ixquick. I sometimes use DuckDuckGo as well.

  8. How is it to include Duck Duck Go in the opera browser ?

Go to DuckDuckGo. "Right click" inside the search box. Select "create search."I set "k" as the keyword for DuckDuckGo, so in the address bar I can now type "k my_search_term" and ¡voila! In all my browsers:k = duckduckgoi = ixquickg = googled = freedictionary.orgw = wikipediaThose are about as many as I can conveniently remember and use.
